At Direction, we strive to empower young people through education and community engagement. Our mission is to provide resources and support that foster personal growth and leadership skills.
This mentorship program is designed to offer guidance, emotional support, and active
listening to both youth and their parents or caregivers. The program facilitates personal growth, self-discovery, and stability by addressing adolescents’ needs for direction and encouragement.
Recognizing that some children are unable to live with their families, this
component seeks to ensure they experience acceptance and a nurturing home
environment. By partnering children with host families equipped to provide
comprehensive care and support, the program helps these young people pursue their
own paths and build resilient futures. Both children and host families receive mentorship
and resources tailored to promote collaborative well-being and long-term success.
Young adults between the ages of 18 and 23 often find themselves in a
transitional phase, seeking independence while still requiring guidance. Through
engaging workshops and employment opportunities, this program aims to foster self-
esteem, practical skills, and financial stability. By integrating mentorship within
enjoyable activities, participants benefit from both personal development and career
readiness in an accessible manner.
